Reserve NOW for ilyAIMY - Sunday, February 23, 2020!

ilyAIMY (I love you and I miss you), with Rob Hinkal, Heather Aubrey Lloyd, Kristen Jones and Rowan Corbett. Returning Sunday, February 23, 2020.

Coming up on Sunday, February 23, 2020 for the next Concert on Bonnie Branch is Baltimore-based ilyAIMY! ilyAIMY performed previously on Bonnie Branch back in 2013 and we are really excited to have them back! Fronted by Rob Hinkal and Heather Lloyd, and performing together since 2001, ilyAIMY is a mainstay in the music scene in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, as well as around the country. While their style can't really be pinned down, I like to think of them as an urban acoustic folk-rock group heavy on percussion, guitar and vocals. One minute they're racing you down the road at 100 miles per hour and then the next you're just taking a lovely stroll on beautiful spring day. ilyAIMY (pronounced ill-YAY-me) gives everyone in the audience something to listen to while pushing no one away.

ilyAIMY is Kristen, Rowan, Rob & Heather

Many of you may know ilyAIMY as basically Rob and Heather since the two of them tour together extensively under the band's name. And if you've heard just the two of them, you'll know they are practically a full band all on their own. But add to that mix Kristen Jones on cello and vocals, and Rowan Corbett on, well, everything percussive and vocal, and the ilyAIMY energy takes on an even fuller sound with greater dimensions.

From their website: "For nearly two decades ilyAIMY has played everything from bait shops to biker weeks to clothing-optional resorts nationwide. They engage audiences with humor and award-winning narrative songs that pair an unforgettably soulful and powerful female vocalist with a percussive, clawhammer-like guitarist. Their infectious energy and rapid-fire lyricism is softened with cello and lush harmony. Their energetic brand of new folk earned honors from Kerrville NewFolk, the National Association for Campus Activities, the Northeast and Southeast Regional Folk Alliances and the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. They are repeat Washington Area Music Association Winners for Best Contemporary Folk Group."
